Ohio house bill 523 becomes operational in September. This law will make medical marijuana legal under qualifying circumstances and conditions. The new law gives most employers options, allowing them to decide whether or not to permit or accommodate employees using medical marijuana.
On Thursday, eleven Chamber member professionals gave their time and expertise to help ensure that the “Marketing 101” workshop at the Steubenville YWCA was a useful and information-filled event. From 9 a.m. until noon, attendees were able to engage face-to-face with local marketing and social media experts who covered a myriad of topics. Each opened with a five-minute overview of their topic to the entire audience followed by table-top break out groups hosted by each presenter.
