Coffee & Connections is a monthly networking event hosted by the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. It is held at a Chamber member business on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 8 to 9 a.m. Guests enjoy breakfast, followed by a short informational session during which guests introduce themselves and talk about their business.
Hours: 8 to 9 a.m. with coffee available at 7:45. Chamber staff arrives at 7:30 a.m. to set up. Guests also stay after to network – usually not longer than 30 minutes.
Attendance: Typically ranges from 15 to 50. The Chamber will let you know an RSVP number a few days before.
Breakfast: A buffet style breakfast is preferred. Typical menu items include fresh fruit, a hot egg dish, a breakfast meat, breads/pastries, coffee & juice, however, this is your chance to showcase your business so creativity is encouraged!
Set up: Coffee & Connections is casual and “buzzy”. Any table set-up is acceptable as long as it is conducive to guests standing at their seat and being able to address the group. A private room or a designated area work best! We will also require a registration table near the door with two chairs.
Price: The Chamber’s price per person must not exceed $12 per person including tax, gratuity and/or any room fees or rentals.
Promotion: The Chamber’s mailing list of over 800 receives an email invitation to Coffee & Connections that will include your business name and logo. You will also be listed in the Chamber calendar of events section of the weekly newsletter for two to three weeks prior to the event and on the Chamber’s website under “Upcoming Events.” You will be given the opportunity to introduce yourself and your staff during Coffee & Connections and are encouraged to leave a menu, coupon or business card at each attendee’s seat.
