The Chamber takes its role as a supporter of the local business community very seriously and part of that role is to assist in keeping existing businesses open. Often, that means finding a new owner when the existing one is nearing retirement or helping someone who wants to be in business but doesn’t know what kind of business would be a good fit for them.
The Chamber and the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Kent State can provide the connection between those who are considering selling their business and those who are interested in becoming business owners. Services are completely confidential with both parties signing a non-disclosure agreement as an important first step. Professional counselors can provide guidance in financing options, legal issues, business formation, property acquisition and more. If you would like to list your existing business for sale, or you are exploring business ownership or you would like details on the listing below, please contact Tricia Maple-Damewood at 740.282.6226 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
