Don Ogden – Director of Behavioral Medicine, Trinity Health System
Opiates and Their Impact on the Workplace
Don Ogden is the Director of the Behavioral Medicine Department for Trinity Health System located in Steubenville, Ohio. Don has been employed by Trinity for the past 30 years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Akron University. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Franciscan University.
Don is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor and a Licensed Social Worker.
Don has served as a member of the Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board, the Jefferson County Anti-Drug Coalition, the Jefferson County Juvenile Drug Court, Common Pleas Drug Court and Trinity’s Opiate Drug Task Force.
Don has presented workshops and trainings on the topics of Adolescent Substance Abuse, Compassion Fatigue, Drug-Free Workplace, Medication Assisted Treatment, Opioid Addiction, Conflict Resolution, and Trauma-Informed Care. He has been a guest on local TV and radio talk shows and has contributed to numerous publications regarding behavioral health issues.
