Exposure
In addition to money saving programs, the exposure that your business gains by belonging to the Chamber is invaluable. Repetition is key in getting a prospective customer to remember your name and/or product or service.

Brochure Rack

The Chamber lobby is a high traffic area with visitors and business people passing through continuously. The brochure rack is a no-cost way to distribute your literature and gain valuable exposure for your business.

Relocation & Visitors Packets
The Chamber answers literally hundreds of requests each month from people planning to visit or re-locate to Jefferson County and the surrounding area. Each is mailed a complete visitors or relocation packet with brochures and various directories which only feature Chamber members. Keep the Chamber stocked with your literature. You'll be glad you did.

Member-Only Referrals
Many residents and newcomers to the area check with the Chamber when researching a business, looking for a list of certain business types or simply trying to find out who to call for a certain product or service. Our strict policy is to only refer Chamber member businesses. And we notify you each time we refer you so you know that you have been referred.

Networking Opportunities

Many members businesses don't take advantage of the many functions the Chamber hosts or discount value of networking, when in fact, this is by far one of the most important membership benefits. While it may look like merely socializing, the people you can meet at the Chamber functions are incredibly valuable. Besides the fact that each one is a prospective customer, you are also meeting a network of people who you can turn to for advice, feedback or input. So, if you are not comfortable in a networking setting, you may want to send a staff person who is. Have them put on a name tag, take plenty of business cards and contact the Chamber to have someone introduce them and show them around. You'll be glad you did. Remember, it's not who you know, it's who you don't and if you aren't out there networking, chances are your competitor probably is.

Member—to—Member Trade Fair

Picture a mini-trade show combined with a "Business After Hours" atmosphere and you'll get the feel for this important event. Members set up a table exhibit for a very minimal fee and the entire membership is invited to browse, eat and drink while learning more about your products and services. Especially beneficial for businesses whose main clientele is other businesses, but so affordable that any business owner or manager should take advantage.

Web Site
Your business will be listed on our website.  Along with your businesses name, we include contact name, telephone number, fax number, email address, website address and business category.  Your web site will be a direct link from the Chamber Site.
