BHJ is the local planning agency for transportation issues. The agency has a GIS system that can provide information and mapping for future planning. Current, major long-range projects include the construction of two Ohio River bridges in Jefferson County; construction of a 4-lane highway system between Pittsburgh, PA and Columbus, OH, also known as the Pittsburgh-Columbus Corridor, and upgrades to the Veterans’ Bridge approaches.
